Why does God create people that are going to hell?

Anything is possible with God......There is the distinct possiblility that anyone in any country can change their belief. Same as we have US citizens that are converting to other religions......
We still send missionaries to foreign countries don't we?

Every person has the same opportunity to follow christ and gain eternal life and true happiness.

God does not create people with the intent of them going to "hell" that would be a cruel act indeed. All children are born pure and by default fall under the Atonement of Christ untill they are able to be held accountable for thier actions.

Hell is not a place of toture, is down not exist in the torah. Hell was created by the pope as a form of propagenda, "Join crusades or go to hell" Hell itself is truely a pagan creation

All of God's children will have the same opportunity to hear the Gospel and either accept or reject Christ.

This is why we (LDS) perform ordinaces for the dead by proxy. because none shall be exempt, all shall have the opportunity and all will confess his name.

There is no way that chrisitanity can sustain itself as the one true religion without some sort of salvation for the dead. Otherwise, God would be a cruel one indeed.

My faith asserts that the Authority to act in God's name was taken fromt he earth when the Apostles were hunted down and killed. The acts of Evil men during the dark ages were not the workings of God but in fact just the opposite.

exactly, "so-called" as you put it perectly. True Christians are disciples and followers of Christ. True chrisitans would not do those things. which is why Christianity as a religion is not responsible for the atrocities that plagued previous generations.

Why do you think it took so long to restore the Gospel? the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ had to take place during a time where it could grow and prosper, the freedom of religion which we in the U.S. take for granted allowed for the gospel to be restored without genocide. Yes there were persecutions, just as there always will be by the wicked against the righteous. Nobody "Likes" being told they are wrong. But how they handle it (accepting and changing or rebelling and continually persecuting) separates the righteous from the wicked.
