Why does the US Support Israel?

Let me just add to the above that even though Israel has the full right to defend itself, I strongly believe that Netanyahu and his Likud coalition have gone too far. There may be a ceasefire with Hezbollah in the works, and I certainly hope that it happens and works. With Gaza, Hamas has refused to surrender and stop all hostilities.

Does Palestine also have the full right to defend itself?

Who started 10-7? Do actions like that have any consequences or should they just be ignored? If your village and family was under attack, what would you do? We saw what the U.S. and allies did after Pearl Harbor and 9-11.

If Hamas surrenders, this all stops. Why is this so difficult for some to understand?
