Why I prefer Islam.

So far all you have shown me is you agree with this book more than that book. Why not read all books and make you own informed world view without the constraints of someone else's analogous interpretation of the world. I have never heard of Asatruar do they have a female god or something to differentiate this worldview from others?

There are sheep and wolves in society. Some societies are not as advanced as other societies mainly through lack of education to make informed decisions about the universes real questions. So religion is for the sheep of society who are happy being corralled in a safety frame work dictated by the wolves, because there is always the simple answer "God did it" the sheep are happy. If we look at world statistics we find the Islamic world well down in the education stakes coupled with the most dogmatic religious constraints in the guise of recursive circular arguments.

Boko Haram means western education is forbidden, this is typical of blame the west for my problems, alternatively learning from the west would reduce child mortality, increase longevity, increase the standard of living and reduce the need for such large families reducing population pressures. Problem is to follow the west one would have to modify ones religious outlook and allow rational questioning of religion, eg the role of women in society, contraception etc, for some this will be unacceptable so they are condemned to remain in their static world.

If there was a real religion don't you think that by now, after thousands of years, there would be some sort of consensus on what it is, instead we have as many different and varied "religions" as ever. This to me says all religion is a Fiction.

I read more and more books, and I never claim Islam to be the true religion.
