Why i'm against sex before marriage

We Never Know

No Slack
I'm against sex before marriage because when people have sex with different boyfriends/girlfriends without marriage (and often people begin with sex in their teenage years) then it is high risk of becoming pregnant and many women and teenage girls choose abortion.

But if people is virgin to they are adult and get married (to the person they want to have a family with/or the person they want to spend the rest of their life with) then the abortions numbers will be much fewer! Then the abortion numbers will go down!

So the best solution to get much fewer abortions is that people do not have sex outside marriage!

I believe abortion is murder (except if a child or woman has been raped, or the woman have a illness so she is in risk of dying in child birth).

And even if you do not believe abortion is murder, you do agree i hope that it is best to try get the abortion numbers to get fewer?

Because of this i believe that to not have sex before marriage is the most moral.

What do you think about this? Any thoughts?

Turn on a TV many, shows have sex scenes.
Turn on a radio, many songs talk about sex.
Go on the internet, sex videos are easier to find than just about anything.
Go out in public, people are doing risky actions all the time.

If you want people to have sex only after marriage, clean the above up first and go from there.

Can anyone tell me what's the best way to get sterilized completely? Maybe I should get chemically castrated...
Chemical castration = endless drugs. Good for the pharmacies, but not for you or your pocketbook.
Just get snipped. Quick and easy. Takes all of 10 minutes.

I dont think the OP is saying "I want this implemented". It is a view.

Anyway, do you think that if the so called "TV and Internet cleanup" happens people will delay having sex? Just out of curiosity. And do you think premarital sex is purely because of what people see? You maybe right, Im just asking if you have anything solid behind you.

You know what? I probably did respond to the wrong post. My apologies. This thread is blowing up lol

I think if we were more open about sex, all the above would be a yawn. They're only titillating 'cause we've made ordinary sex a taboo.

I think society has become so casual with sex, it will never change.

That logic doesn't fly. If the argument against abortion is that a fetus is the life of a sacred and innocent human soul, is it made less valuable and deserving because it was a product of rape? What if a baby is killed by the mother or doctor after it was born, is the rapist still the murderer rather than the aforementioned?
I was not talking about the baby

Thats only the United States. Of course abstinence will not work there. And also it will not work many other countries where the culture is casual sex.

Any global studies? Where they have implemented, not just education.

Global studies not really since in many country there is no such thing as "sexual education" not even the "abstinence only type". Sexual education is relegated to a parental duty only. There is a partial database on it globally though it's not sufficient to draw good comparison. Poorer countries will also have a much higher rate of teenage pregnancy due to poverty and lack of education. As an example, in Egypt, in urban zones 4% of adolescents girls have been pregnant (about four times more than in the US) though the two country healthcare and education system are vastly different. The country with the lowest teenage pregnancy number which holds a comprehensive database is Switzerland and Korea and the highest are Niger and Mali.

I think you are right.

I am just asking for studies behind this. One thing I would like to add is that you can never say never. There has been many many changes that are so huge it would surprise people to read up on history.

See, you cannot really take the extremes to understand a common problem. For example, in countries like Botswana where the number of aids patients is highest in the world (at least it was), it was a culture to expect women to prove that they can have children before marriage. In another African culture which I will have to read up and tell you exactly where, there is a village designated man who takes every girls virginity. Problems can be vastly different. The United States has a very high rape rate compared to some asian countries who also have high rape rates, and high report rates in comparison, although the societies are not discussion sex with growing up children. There was a correlation study done by UNIDO which showed a rise in teen pregnancy once they started introducing a subject called procreation in grade 8. It is procreation, not even sex education. But then again in some western countries sex education has proven to work in comparison to the states in United States which did not. Every society has its own subjective social studies to use.

Cheers.

Since aggressive promotion of birth control methods and protection has the same effect with much lesser effect on fundamental human liberty, that option is to be chosen.

Birth control today is cheap and effective.

Also, how do you figure that married couples automatically want children whereas non-married couples do not?

I agree with Firedragon. Never say never.
We were much more casual with sex in the late sixties and seventies, and I recall seeing topless women on network TV (that was all we had back then:oops:) back in the fifties -- quite often.

Attitudes are constantly shifting, as is what we see as sexual. Moreover, print media, TV, movies and social permissiveness are separate categories and don't seem to shift in sync with each other.

Right now I'd say we were in a less permissive period, in most categories.

Something prolifers should do when it comes to women seeking an abortion.
When my daughters were in high school I remember them saying they knew several sexually active girls that wouldn't use protection. When asked aren't you worried about getting pregnant, they said no, abortions are easy to get.

Think protection before abortion.

The drugs have changed since then lol
