What is unethical is choosing to kill. Whether it is an unborn child, the folks down river from a factory, or a cheating spouse, it is the choice that is wrong. But if that choice has already been made, by attacking me or my country or something like that I will use lethal force if necessary to make sure it is the chooser who dies and not the innocent.

If what you mean is running away it depends. If that would result in a peaceful resolution it is the only moral choice. If it means that the murderer just picks a different victim maybe not.

No arguments about war(I'm very much anti-war with VERY few exceptions), but does that mean you only eat honey? After all, eating pretty much anything else requires killing; keeping yourself healthy requires killing; and yogurt is alive.

If the excuse is that if we step on an ant and kill it is a defence for killing animals and eating them, or killing people, it is not defence. We sin in trying not to sin, that is clear. But we should not just ignore everything because of that, you have to do the best you can through life, that is also clear. We given vegetation at the beginning, and if possible, that is what we should eat. Killing people is out of bounds, we all answer at the last judgment for that which we do whilst in the body.

And there are many negative things which come from it also, which you fail to mention or perhaps admit. Just because men in the past have not dealt wisely with their position, does not mean that we have to make it worse. Man is the head of woman..as it is written

Many things have been written, supporting whatever one wants to believe.
I don't buy something just because "A book says so.".
Ain't nobody the head of someone else IMO.
