What is there to defend? Let him defend himself.
Here are some examples:
1. He made it harder for Senate Republicans to pass the Health Care Bill for seemingly no reason by calling it "mean".
2. He claimed that he won the popular vote due to at least 3 million people voting illegally for Hillary Clinton without providing a sliver of evidence.
3. He said that President Obama illegally wiretapped Trump Tower in NYC without providing a sliver of evidence.
4. He stopped allowing any cameras in the White House briefings.
5. He seemed as if he had absolutely no understanding of what specifically was in the new health care bill. Instead of explaining to the American People why it was good legislation, he merely went out and said it was "great" or "better than Obamacare". He failed to actually explain why it is "great" or why it is "better than Obamacare".
6. He continually fails to keep his mouth shut when it comes to the Russia Investigation, when it is obviously in his best interest to do so. He would be much better served if he stuck to his agenda, but he keeps on attacking the Dems, Congress, Hillary, Comey, Mueller, etc. which keeps attention squarely on the investigation.
7. He has failed to explain why getting out of the Paris Climate Deal was necessary, as it was a completely voluntary agreement where countries set their own goals and held themselves accountable in whatever way they saw fit.
