I think Islam is NOT dangerous.. In fact, I was always safer in a souk in Arabia or Lebanon or Kuwait than I was in the US. Although, I was also quite safe when I lived in Switzerland.

I did not feel at all safe when I lived in Libya.

Muslims are just people. We are different, but more alike than different.. and they certainly know that. You know, if you are respectful and kind to people they treat you the same way... Ginning up fear and hatred is a fool's errand. Everybody ultimately loses. Governments know this.. so do military brass and multi-national corporations.

I condemn violence.

I believe for the Muslim it depends on how much self discipline there is and whether there is wisdom which usually comes from God. For a Christian it depends on how well the person allows Jesus to be Lord and how much wisdom the Paraclete imparts.
