I would choose to move to Iran.
Why? Because i would be better of with Muslims around me then being forced by a dictator(trump) to do his bidding. Iran would not kill me because i am not a Muslim. And i actually have heritage from Iran back in now own family.

If Iran is such a marvellous place to live, why are many Muslims leaving the place in favour of living in the West?

I did not say Iran is a marvelous place, i answer where i would move by the two choices you gave me. Iran has its flaws and error don't misunderstand me on that, their view of the female is not good at all, so that need to be changed.

Many leave their home because they have been told us is a very good place to live. but when they get there they see it is becoming a bad place for foreign.
Some muslims move other countries to spread islam that is for sure. but 99% of them are not extremists. but the little groupe who are extreme, those are the one who get attention.

I think it is wrong to persecute Gay people they way it happens in Iran and some other middle east countries. but no i would not have a problem living there since i am not Gay person my self.
Being homosexual in itself is not something the person chose when he/she was born. But they can choose not to act upon it.

If consenting adults wish to participate in something that does not detrimentally affect others, I believe they have the right to do so without being persecuted for it.

This would deter me from moving to a country that I knew had a barbaric attitude against anyone even perceived to be gay.

They are desperate to obtain nuclear weapons so that they use them as a big stick to beat the West into submission.

Iran is economically on its knees but they will never admit that this is self-inflicted.

If it was not for the US sanctions toward Iran they would be a better economical country and could help the citizens more then they do today. Because now the only thing they can do to protect them self is to develop weapons strong enough to fight back US military attacks (when they come)

Here in the UK, we have nuclear weapons and we have a contender to be our next Prime Minister when we have another General Election and that person has vowed never to use them.

The leader of Iran would never make that claim. It would be just the opposite.
