Most Christians are taught that the Old Testament is irrelevant except for when they need to prove something that was prophesied by someone in the Old Testament. Without the Old Testament Christianity wouldnt be able to justify paying tithes or the coming of Christ.Lostinthisworld said:Why is it when anyone ask a question about the old testament, someone always gives you new testament quotes ?:sarcastic
I supose that you are talking about the Christian community, who believes that the Old Testament no longer applies to man as law. NetDoc said:I'll freely admit. I know the NT FAR, FAR better than the OT.
However, if you don't want to hear quotes from the NT, just specify that in your post. If you don't want them thar nasty "born agains" mucking up your thread, just ask them to stay out. Whining about participation on a message board is rather absurd. Really, really!
Well, I wouldn't say always, but anyway...Lostinthisworld said:Why is it when anyone ask a question about the old testament, someone always gives you new testament quotes ?:sarcastic
