The reason I think porn is bad, is because I feel wrong while and guilty after I look at it. I spent some time as a kid trying it out, and I found that the little things in life lost their savor. I no longer found satisfaction in the little things. When I closed my eyes, there was porn instead of peace and reflection. I began to lose self-respect and became a little more insecure knowing I was losing the ability to control my own mind and body. These are not fun things or good things to me. It felt great while looking at it. But comparing that moment of pleasure with dissatisfaction with my overall, long-term life made it an unworthy sacrifice. And a difficult habit to break. I did get through it, stopped it, and now I once again enjoy the nuance of life and feel peace.

It`s actually quite common among dogmatic theistic groups that gear their doctrine towards controlling the sexuality of it`s followers.

Guilt and irrational fear is impressed upon the follower until he associates whatever innocent act he is guilty of with the fear mongering doctrine he is constantly being fed.
