There are many ways to tell the story. How someone tells the story will more or less align with their own way of life and their own values. Some will tell the story about how you are mistaken in you assessment, because they do not share in your life experiences and perspective. Some will tell the story blaming a government or a socioeconomic system. Perhaps some sort of cultural trend or movement, such as industrialization, colonialism, or globalism. Others still will look to explanations in biological sciences, social sciences, or environmental sciences. And yet others will use stories and themes from their deeply-held truths (aka, religions) that speak of fractured relations, sinful natures, or maybe failed paths to balance and harmony.
What story do you want to tell about it, and what does that say about you?
