Why is there anything at all?

I was thinking about it lately and was is there anything at all? why is there matter or energy or even space i was wondering if anyone could give me a reason for this

As a Catholic, a believe that the world was created so that God could share his love with humanity...... but who knows for sure?..... maybe there is NO reason for any of this.... great question though...

Imagine for a moment that the only thing in existence was a DVD. Nothing else existed except this DVD. Now imagine that this single DVD has a remarkable feature: It can play itself.

The playing of the movie in the DVD represents the space time continuum, but the DVD itself does not. Everything that has happened already has happened because everything is contained within the DVD.

However for the characters of the movie inside of the DVD it appears to them that not everything that has happened will happen. They have a sense of an unfolding, a sense that there will be a tomorrow in various formats, e.g. human form, soul etc. They perceive a future and have this thing called a past.

In reality though there is no future and no past. There is just this DVD which exists always in the same moment, a moment that doesn’t consist of a beginning or an end. The playing of the DVD never stops, it never started either, it was always playing all along. It just is…

Now imagine the DVD to be the empty space around you and within you….

As a Druid? The Source exists and is everything. It is the the fire from whence all comes. The realms are it's embers and ashes, the beings are sparks. The Source merely exists. Always has.

No realy way to answer the question though. It is confusing, when you think long enough

Or, what if Im the only one that exist and the rest of you are fake? Or, what if we are all traped inside the Matrix?

It makes us the actors, the spirits the audience, and the gods the director, producers, etc.

One of the reasons is RF I am sure.

I'm not sure I understand your reluctance to attribute wanting to know where we cam from as anything past curiosity. Think of it; how did we get here ? ah, there's the Bible, there is also plenty of evidence that the World is far older than the Bible. Therefore, there was something before; what was there before?- an Ice age; why was there an Ice age?.......

Curiosity is Bound (IMO) to take you to what made the Earth ? Big bang; what made the big bang bang? Scientists are the ones with the greatest curiosity of all.
