why is woman/man kind failing so bad these years?

maybe it's just in the u.s.
even with education all around with things like the internet able to help educate people more so, and conveniently. people talk about how society has learned from history, yet it still gets repeated with the bad stuff when people know better, despite playing dumb.
to me it seems odd that things are getting worse. mass shooting, crime rates going up, sexual offenses risong, gangs getting more popular, prisons getting more populated, etc. not just in the city but small towns, despite how wholesome they look.
i wonder if being passive about it is really a good idea.

Everything is cyclical. The reason is that humans themselves and mankind are subject to the laws of nature unless they sincerely realise their higher nature.
Human conscience is subjective as it is also of a biological nature and thus both mechanical and not universal.

Since only a small minority actually genuinely desire and seek contact, through a religious path, with higher conscience, mankind as a whole remains unguided by the divine.

I believe many religions share a similar concept like Jericho in the Bible. Each religion has an 'End of Days story' and the way man/womankind behaves during this time is totally indicative and illustrative of what has been hitherto prophesied.

In Judaism, this is the reason God gave Humankind Free Will to choose either a path of salvation or a path of Sin. When it reaches the point where the universal balance has become so upset, the Lord can no longer sustain it, He will intervene.

In Hinduism and Buddhism, Adharma will quickly spread so that it will shake the very Four Pillars of Dharma itself and Bhagavan Kalki/Lord Nataraja or the Dissolution aspect of the Divine can begin His work.

Is it 'fatalism' for me to think/feel this way? Most probably yes....but it's the only plausible answer I get when I pray and ask the question: "Dear Lord - why did you have to go and create a race of total stupidity?'

I don't think its just what they say.We have instant access news 24/7.When I was growing up? Seriously the T.V shut off (stopped broadcasting) at midnight .And I don't think it came back on until 5 or 6 am...and there were only about 12 channels..There was no internet..Now we have non stop 24/7 news on many different channels and news jumping out in our faces on the computer screen 24/7.

Yes or they could be die hard pessimist too.Sort of feeding off of bad news.There are things that are terrible and growing worse.I just don't believe its everything.There are things that aren't terrible or that are getting better as well.

In the United States, black people used to be slaves, women used to not be able to vote, there was an extremely deadly civil war, and there were laws against homosexual activities.

Crime rates have been going mostly down over the last few decades, and teen childbirth among all ethnic groups have hit historic lows.

I'm pretty sure abuse of children, using them to procure labor and sexual gratification, and routinely desensitizing them to death, was pretty much common place for the majority of time in the majority of places.

Growing up in cushy circumstances seems to yield greater human empathy, an empathy that generally breaks a lot of the previous systems institutions are set upon. I don't buy too much into the idea of human nature, or historical cycles. The world is dynamic. People, increasingly complex.

I do not think that marriage is failing. Because of the modern times - woman and man have started to have equal rights. Before, men was superior and women had always less rights.
