Why it is called Working and Not Ritual?

We all know what is meant, but in the first connection years ago I had really to think about the difference in naming.

I want to ask about your intrepretation first before I give my Ideas about the Namings...
Do not read elsewhere but answer out of your own self.

I often use the term "ritual working" which is exactly what it is, the following of certain steps like ringing the bell 9x, lighting of the Black Flame, Invocation of Set...
Things done to gain the sense of the Powers of Darkness and in preparation for Working the Will upon the warp and weave of the subjective universe. But there are times when its just a "Working", an exercise of the Magickal Will without ritual structure or organization, such as a spontaneous desire to invoke Set which is what happened on the night I first invoked him. During that day a great inspiration began swelling within me; a vital spiritual question had been answered and it felt as if Set was "calling" to me. And while walking in my back yard that night I answered back with an invocation of Set I wrote myself. No ritual trappings, no bell, no pentagrams, just the majesty of the darkness and the sky by night. It was during that Working I am convinced that Set did come forth and enshrined within me further of his Essence and recognized me as one of his own kind, a Setian.

I use either term, usually ritual. I personally see no difference.

some years ago I was also using them Similiar or in the Term Ritualistic Working...
But with the years my view has changed... What is a Ritual? A Ritual is a Expiration of doings in allways the same way. Only short passages have to be changed, but the Frame has to be the Same, for came to the interpretation of being a Ritual

A working, needs no Standadized Part, not allways the same Frame. It is be done when it is needed.

Going deeper and deeper into the LHP I ended Ritualizing and begin to work...
Frames are irrelevant only needed for help the Imagination, to get connected. But when you have changed your self over the time (Xepher Transform yourself into Xem, the Darkness...), the Connection is allways there. you have only to call it active and than do what is needed... Work on your growing.

What brings me to a next question: How do you define Ritual and Working... ?

(I fly this Evening with my stepdaughter to London, so I can not answer until Thursday Evening. )
