Why does Jay-Z matter?
Are you saying he doesn't matter because he's a monkey?? Please clarify, you called him a monkey.
You can't even answer a simple question, maybe you're just a bot!! You seem to think its OK to call black men monkeys, that's usually considered incredibly racist, are you incredibly racist or do you have some other compelling reason to call black men monkeys??
You're not the one who gets to ask questions here, you're the one calling black men monkeys, and you're the one that has some explaining to do.
Do you believe in creation or evolution?
now, if Colin had argued about fair wages and work place treatment I could see this argument being relevant.

The way I see it. If he was taking. a principled stand he would demand Nike pay those women a fair wage for their labor.
Yes its a sick world where right wingers call black people monkeys with seemed impunity!!

That was not the focus of his protest.
Jay-Z only cares about $$$$. His marriage itself is basically just an industry creation with a highly controlled image to make money. Those two will appropriate whatever movement or trend they believe will keep them relevant. No idea why people worship these two hacks. Colin is a sell-out, too."I think we're past kneeling"
Said Jay-Z in a closed meeting with reporters along with NFL CEO Roger Godell. Speaking not only as a member of the community affected by police brutality and social injustice, but as a healthcare worker who has professionally seen shady things done by police this was a slap in the face to a lot of people Kaepernick among one of them.
For many of you that are unaware, the rapper Jay-Z partnered with the NFL to form a coalition which seeks to develop their social justice initiative, which also includes Superbowl concert developments, commercials, entertainer lineups etc.
What made this an issue for many was that prior to this partnership Jay-Z was very vocal in his support to Colin Kaepernick, very supportive of his message, and even in one of his songs stated that he doesn't need the NFL, the NFL needs him.
However after his statement regarding kneeling, Jay-Z mentioned that it was time to do "actionable items." Although this is true apparently it would seem his position would seem disingenuous especially considering he has voiced his ambition to be the first black owner of an NFL team.
The problem with trying to be a capitalist and an activist is that one must be sacrificed for the other and it seemed that Jay-Z backpedaled from all the rising fist rhetoric he once was touting.
A shame that this is an attempt of a man trying to become political and be a part of the "good ole boys" club.
True. Beyonce, Jay-Z's wife, was caught using slave labor to make her fashion line, when she claims to be about empowerment and women's rights. They are so fake.Nike exploited child slave labour in Southeast Asia for years, many of them were physically and sexually abused and worked in unsafe conditions with dangerous chemicals. All you need is some glitter and glamour and a celebrity telling people how cool they will look wearing them, nevermind they paid $1 a piece for them and then charged $150 or more a pair. Meanwhile little 8 year old Mai Lim is being raped or 10 year old Poo Mao get's beaten because he didn't work fast enough.
It's a sick world and they and their enablers should be ashamed of themselves.
Of course social justice was not his protest. It was $$$
You do realize Kaepernick has donated millions, have set initiatives in the inner city and has put money where his mouth is in his protest.
Colin Kaepernick has already donated more than $1 million of his NFL earnings to social justice charities
Colin is a sell-out, too.
Yet he still has his contract with Nike. Bad-faith donation are not impressive
Nike sought him ought, decided to use his platform to reach people especially those who support Kaepernick's cause. Nike decides to us some of its proceeds on items associated with Kaepernick to donate to charity events while Nike achieves success at sales, sounds like a win/win to me.
