why not have both gods

Q: Why can't we have both?
A: For the same reason you can't stand and sit at the same time--the messages are contradictory!

I don't believe any god has "messages." But to me, most of the gods are the same. It is not like standing and sitting. It is like sitting in a chair, compared to sitting in a "chaise", or sitting in a "sedia", or sitting in a "yeesha". They are the same, only the name changes.

When it comes to lucifer and god why do we have to choose one? i mean if you look at every body no matter who they are they have a good side and a bad side.They can be mean one second and nice the next.So if we have a good side and a bad side why can't we belive in two gods such as god for your good side and lucifer for your bad side?why do we have to choose one god wether its the one considerd evil or the one thats not when we have a good and a evil side?

Well, personally I don't see God, my Father in Heaven, as being anything but good. On the other hand, I don't believe that Lucifer/Satan is anything but evil. While it's true that I have both a good side and a bad side, if I truly want to be good, what sense would it make for me to choose to follow someone who will never encourage me to do anything but evil?

I agree, though christianity isn't radical dualism, it's still dualism no matter how you look at it.

Radical Dualism: The belief system that there can be two or more co-eternal Gods each with their own independant cosmos and activity.

Monarchian Dualism: The belief system that God has an eternal or long-term temporal enemy, though inferior to him, none-the-less has his own cosmic sphere of independant activity. This can take two forms within Christianity. The mainstream belief that Satan fell from heaven and now perverts God's world into wickedness, temptation, etc. And the more obscure belief that Satan fell from heaven and then created his own universe, mankind, etc.

There is also Eastern Dualism . Yin and Yang . Which has little to do with God , but more on how we percieve the world around us { including God } . After all God created everything . Which would mean that He created Satan . So Evil would also come from God . A simple way to view it perhaps . But I like simple .

Man's only enemies are within himself. Personality is one of the last enemies to be overcome, as this planet is taking its initiation in love. Jesus Christ said, "Resist not evil," for He knew in reality, there is no evil, therefore nothing to resist. Evil has come of man's "vain imagination," or a belief in two powers, good and evil.

There is an old legend, that Adam and Eve ate of "Maya the Tree of Illusion," and saw two powers instead of one power, God.

Therefore, evil is a false law man has made for himself, through psychoma or soul sleep. Soul sleep means, that man's soul has been hypnotized by the race belief (of sin, sickness and death, etc.) which is carnal or mortal thought, and his affairs have out-pictured his illusions.

Because I don't wish to nurture both my mean side and my nice side. I prefer the nice side; so why would I have a god for the other?

If I have nothing nice to say, say nothing?? That's a strange request given your post. So you have two gods but one is silent?
