shoving a sharp hood into the body of a living thing
the worm
There is no obligation to use live bait.
Whether a worm experiences "pain" in any
sense as we do, who knows.
I was on a ranch in Wyoming for two weeks,
which was one of my life's most interesting
experiences.
One thing I remember so well, a cow had been hit
by a car. Compound fracture of one femur, bone
actually sticking out.
Here was what was so surprising. The cow was lying
down, and they wanted to get it into a trailer.
Now, the cows see people and pickup trucks all the time.
The will crowd against the truck, if there is some sort
of food. (so I was told) They are not afraid of trucks and people.
BUT, the cow would get up and walk, in whatever pain
that was, rather than let the pickup get closer than maybe
15 feet. So they were able to get it to walk into the
trailer.
If a person had such an injury, Satan himself would
have a hard time getting them to move.
What was the cow feeling?
