Why the double standard?

You might be correct about that, but my understanding is that kids in Gaza were subjected to violent anti-semitism teaching long before 10/7. I think the only answer is for Muslims to decide that Islamism and terrorism need to stop - around the world, not just around Israel. Because we know that Muslims are the most frequent victims of Islamism and terrorism.

Israel made anti-semitism and Islamism completely unnecessary to breed terrorists in Gaza. Imagine a child right now going through all of this, some loved ones died, others maimed. Imagine this child, 5 years from now, being granted the opportunity for revenge.

I get your point. But I think the context I mentioned has to be considered: Young Gazan children have been brought up to hate Jews long before this war started :(

It would have been possible to revert that, at least in part, if they had shown kindness, but now that they have shown the opposite the chance is lost. Ought to wait until the next generation now...

I don't think Islamists think the way you and I do. And I think you're projecting how you'd react in this situation. Their basic values are NOT your basic values.

Hatred flows both ways.

That's absolutely flawless.
But I guess the focus here is: are those lives valuable?
Yes, they are. Indeed,...I am so saddened by the death of many Gazans, no matter how radicalized they were.

At the same time, I am saddened by the death of thousands of Ukraine who die in a stupid war, due to the fact that the two belligerent parties don't find a compromise and don't make peace.
So these Ukrainians are the victims of mercilessness and intransigence. They are not volunteers. They are FORCED TO FIGHT BY THE GOVERNMENT.

Every single day I get updates how many people have died in Gaza or Lebanon. Every day. Many articles in my feed.

I don't think I've ever gotten an article in my feed telling me of casualties in Ukraine. Certainly not multiple articles every day.

I know why *I* think there is this double standard, but I'm curious why you all think so.
Reporting on the Zionist state's crimes against humanity isn't "anti-semitism". If a bunch of news about Gaza and Lebanon is popping up in your feed, it's because you searched for it or are following sources that cover it a lot. So that's really on you, from how it sounds. I don't know where you get your news, but I still see mentions of Ukraine in the news, such as the evening world news.
