Why this religion Specifically?

it is because of the God they are worshiping.

The God of the Isrealites proved himself to them, he saved them, fought for them and guided them. He proved to be a real God...one who is interested and involved with his followers.

He is also the maker of heaven and earth and keeps this universe functioning...and all life in it. So there is only one true God and he is the God of Abraham. His name is יהוה in hebrew and may be transliterated into English as YHWH, JHVH, or Jehovah.

I agree, but Mulims may say the same thing about Allah...

Hi,
What does make me sure that your religion is the only right religion, meaning if I'm a Jewish or Christian, why should I convert to Islam and vice versa?
What are the evidences?
I'm new here in this sub-forum, so I'm not aware of the novelty of this topic, if it had been discussed before so please direct me to it.
Thanks.

Eihab,
There are so many reasons that the only religion God accepts is the only RIGHT one, it would be very difficult to list hem all here. But allow me to mention just a few. First, there IS only ONE faith that is acceptable to God, Eph 4:3-6.
First, consider John 4:22, which says that you worship what you do not know. This is what most people do. How many people do you know who do research in the Holy Scriptures, or even read the Bible regularly???
Consider John 4:23,24, which says that God is looking for ones to worship Him in spirit and truth, and that we must worship God in spirit and TRUTH. Have you done research on the doctrines of the churches. If you had you would have found that every one of the major doctrines of the major faiths are based on falsehood.
People want to belong to a church that is popular with the world, but is that the way Jesus and the apostles were regarded?? Notice what Jesus said, Matt 24:9, that his people would be hated by every nation on earth, John 15:18-20, Luke 6:22-26.
The Bible says that God's people would be called by His Name, Acts 15:14,17.
Just before Jesus went back to heaven he gave a command to make disciples of people of all the nations baptizing the and teaching them, Matt 28:19,20.
Consider John 10:11-14, where Jesus is talking about himself as the fine shephard. Jesus talks about the HIRED man not caring for the sheep. Which faith has millions of ministers who are NOT HIRED men, but actually spend billions of dollars of their own money to help people to understand God's word??
Which faith qualifies to fulfill Titus 2:14, which says that Jesus' followers would be PECULIARLY his own, zealous for fine works. The term pecular means to be different from other people even in the supposed same religion, Christianity.

Thanks for the reply. However, what I think the OP is after is proof that you can take the word of one over the other as being the ultimate authority, or the truth. Just by Jesus saying what he did John doesn't mean that it is the truth. How do you prove Jesus was right or ever said those words?
It can't be proven. It's a matter of faith. And only the Holy Spirit can give us to know that it is true.

Hi there! My name is Nadia. I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I can tell what made me choose to be one of JW is that I found that this religion explaines it teachings by means of Bible, or better to say, it lets Bible to explain itself. I found the understanding and explanation of past prophesies, and present events very logic, besides I believed that Bible is God's inspired word long time before I met Witnesses. I agree with this Biblical Scripture: Ephesians 4:4-6- " One body there is, and one spirit, even as YOU were called in the one hope to which YOU were called; 5*one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6*one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all."
So I beleive that there is , according to this words, one true religion.

I think most religions, when pushed would claim that they are the right one. Or else, what is the point? However, I understand what you are saying.

All three religions you have listed do claim to be the true religion, yet at the same time all three are divided within their own faiths.

The question is, out of those three great religions, which form of worship is true?

Well, each is based on the God of Abraham. All three religions worship the God of Abraham, eventhough they may not know the name of that God. However, they Bible makes it clear that the God of Abraham is called YHWH or Yaweh/Jehovah.

The Bible also makes it clear that he is a jealous God, exacting exclusive devotion or in other words, credit where credit is due. (To illustrate, if you were the author of a book, you would want to be recognised as such and probably wouldn't be happy if the praise for your book went to someone else.)
He has a specific form of worship that is acceptable to him and as of now all three religions you listed fall short of those requirements.

I do not agree. There is one fundamental requirement that God enunciates in the Hebrew scripture, Greek scripture and Arabic scripture and that is that God wants a personal relationship wherein the person is obediant.

There is no doubt that JW's use the Bible but I find more errors in that denomination than in any other. The use of logic is convoluted at best. When I studied with the JW's the approach was that one couldn't look at other scriptures that might undermine their beliefs but had to keep to a study guide book that only showed scriptures that supported their beliefs.

It's good for you sniper.

Why should a person have their own beliefs? Is that person smarter than God? I believe what God tells me to believe. That way my own misconceptions or someone else's don't get in the way.

According to Islam hearing and obeying God is pure religion and I would agree with that and it is what I practice. It does not alter my Christianity, it confirms it.
