shallow assumption on your part
Wrong again, a well founded conclusion drawn upon the posts that you have written. Perhaps we should discuss the nature of evidence too. Once you understand the nature of evidence you might not keep making so many errors.

again I reiterate.....

matters of faith need not be proven

and science cannot not make them go away

But they can be disproven. Just because you believe something does not mean that others cannot refute your belief.

I might believe that I can fly by merely flapping my arms. Others who understand aerodynamics could easily refute my claim. Your belief in the flood myth is not any different from such a belief.

there will never be evidence

no photo, no fingerprint, no equation and no repeatable experiment

positively .....NOT!

all you CAN do is think about it

as soon as you realize.....you can't win.....

Please, there is no winning or losing. The simple fact is that you are wrong. Now you may not be honest enough to admit that you are wrong, but in the sense of "winning or losing" you lost this debate before you even started. You are merely making yourself look worse.

Nope, Most of the world knows that this story is myth. There are tales of Paul Bunyan from where I grew up. Yet no one takes him seriously. Understanding the difference between fact and fiction is a trait that most people have. I still enjoy the tales of Paul Bunyan, I simply don't believe them. You believe the equivalent of the tales of Paul Bunyan and seem to think that people should respect your beliefs.

You have the right to believe anything that you want. That will not stop others from laughing at you if you still believe in Santa Claus, fairies, or other man made myths.

you may as well roll a heavy stone up hill
only to watch it roll back down....

sure....it's a myth
but you get the point

faith by it's definition .....requires no proving

it's the story that counts
The story could be said to have value as a morality tale. That is how most Christians view it. This thread is dedicated to those that make the mistake that it actually happened. Can you be honest enough to admit that it never happened?

can you affirm the impossibility?

and there are far too many believers to say.....nay

Yes, I can. That is what this thread is about. And you do realize that many "scientific documentaries" are not scientific at all, don't you? If you posted a link to that documentary we could discuss it perhaps. If it is just a group lying for Jesus I will merely refute one claim and laugh at it.

In Raelism this is not a problem. Nukes caused a massive, short-lived tidal wave. That is why from Pangea's shape there is a ring of oil fields around the earth, something only Raelians know. The delay to land was because there was too much radiation.

and that story (Harry P.) has no character value?

the point of this thread is to reject the Flood story for lack of evidence

shall I (again) reiterate my previous posts?

Close, but no cigar. The flood story is rejected because of the evidence against it.
