Why would Paul never reference Gamaliel's teachings?

If asking questions and providing answers means 'teaching like a greek' then sure, yes, ok.

The greeks must have been good teachers too.

I'm talking about the way in which Paul answers his own questions, such as in Romans when he says- 'shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means!'. This style of rhetoric is Hellenic.

Good points Gnostic.

The style a person learns to argue and reason kind'a sticks with him even after changing his views and beliefs. I argue and reason with a similar style, rhetoric, and approach (like right there, a triad right after each other it's very typical me) as I did as a hard-core Christian. A pitcher can change teams in baseball, but he will have the same throwing arm. Changing one's belief or faith doesn't change our behaviors. If Paul is, as you say, not even using a rhetoric that resembles the pharisaic, then something surely isn't right.

OB, your opinion is contrary to the statement by Paul.
1Cor.2:2-5, "For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."
