Jesus was paying his debt off? Since chrsitians believe jesus was god, you must mean jesus died for god's sins. Well, I like an alternative theory where god is actually held accountable for his own misdeads.

I consider his statment regaurding the bible and the tanakh to be a half truth depending on the point of view. I would say it's semi-accurate to state the christian bible is not the same as the tanakh, as the christian bible is really a composition of the books of the tanakh, plus their 'new testament.' So in that regaurd the statment is true.
Either way though, this assertion in relation to you previous comment does not carry weight, as it does not address the 'debt' issue to which you were inquiring. And does nothing to detract from the idea that jesus was unnessecary.
