I started way back when, when there was at most like 10 of us posting regularly. I think I just searched for "religious forums" and BOOM I was here.

i had debated religion online for a couple of years and got to a point where I was tired of the name calling and personal attacks. My gf at the time told me to look for another forum. I clicked on two and registered on the first day. This was one of them. The other one I blew off almost immediatly.
The first thing I noticed ( I am stiill kinda new I joined in oct 2004) was there were other UU's on here. I was like WAY COOL!!! I had yet to run into another UU on a debate forum let alone more than one.
I got all these welcomes and immediatly noticed so little bickering. If you havn't been out in they cyber debate world in religion you may be shocked. It gets really ugly out there on this sensative topic.
The debt of knowledge here is really high too. From all the beliefs on here. On average I would say that most know much more about at least their own religion than 90 % of those on other forums.
The level of interaction and complexity of it is inspring from frubals to chat there is quite a bond here.
I have come to see this as my spirtual vessel for the internet.

Like rob i had spent some time discussing religion on other forums and most of them had agendas and were biased one way or the other and i wanted a place where the discussion was more open minded and objective....
So i gave RF a try and have been pleased w/ the results!

Me? Well, I was googling along and saw a thread about something (I can't remember which), and I was in a particularly argumenitive mood. As a result, I joined so I could pick an argument
