God didn't change. Our understanding of Him grew and matured a bit, especially with the Incarnation of God, Jesus Christ, correcting us on many things and fully revealing the God of love, mercy and self-sacrifice to us.

Can some Christian explain this to me...God in the Old Testament is full of hatred, revenge. And in the New Testament, God loves everyone...What happened?
Also another question..In the Old Testament God commands the Jews to slaughter everything that moves..If Jesus is God, was it Jesus that commanded the Jews to slaughter?

Because the assortment of fictional characters known collectively as "The God of Abraham" were invented by many different people with many different agendas over many centuries.
So, of course, they differ a good deal.

Instead of god(s) creating man, I think it's more likely that man created god(s) out of his folklore, which was then passed down from generation to generation. So, if correct, "God" was made in man's image and not the other way around.

Whereas his 2nd coming will be bloody.

With the sword sticking out of his mouth. That's going to be some sight to see. I wonder why he wouldn't just hold the sword in his hand like a regular warrior? It's going to be tough for him to parry using only the motion of his head and neck.

To me, the OT is the left hand God and the NT is the right hand God. They are the two sides of Yhvh.

In which case sometimes they straight know what the phycology is. Some people just have an utter hope in God so they will read it and assume there's maybe a legitimate reason, maybe its more a social power struggle within however to test it, you wouldn't go to another country and practice that. They might call up people to put a stop to it if they break into that in some place. But you probably wouldn't be thinking of killing everyone to have a place in the world. Sometimes people have provoked this idea were people are constantly being bombarded, and its not how it appears.

Sorry, I am not a Christian.
My understanding is that neither Moses wort the OT Bible nor Jesus wrote the NT Bible, both the scriptures don't necessarily present views Moses and Jesus believed.
Others could believe differently with or without reasons and arguments, please.

The two are the same. There was much provision for mercy and compassion in the Old Testament (sacrificial lamb, the Mercy Seat, Cities of Refuge etc.) and plenty of anger in the New Testament (take them and burn them type parables, Jesus wept for what would befall Jerusalem, the door being shut etc..)

When they finished everyone off. It's easy to love your neighbors after they got reeeeeeaaaaaaaal quiet. :p

Yes, that's basically what happened to European Jewry.
Says that God will call His people out of all the nations
that had become their graves. God would bring them
back to their home land again. There were plenty of
mockers when this began to happen - but from it came
that amazing phenomenon - the modern state of Israel.
