What? Me worry?
this is not really a debate as much as it is more of a rant. I am on facebook and just a bit ago I had this lady tell me I should not call myself a Christian and that God does not have a relationship with a sinner. All I did was tell her my own personally views. I am for women's right. I am for gay rights. I am for everyone's rights. I know what it is like to be judge at for being less then perfect and I will not do that to others. But cause of my own personally view I turned around and got told I can't be a Christian. Fine they win. I wont call myself that anymore. I call myself a born again now. Or a Jesus Freak. Christian has been used around so much now that it has lost it's meaning. So many call themselves that but go around and point fingers at others and then go home and sin themselves. I am not that type of believer. And never will be.

Everyone has to find their own truth.

Todays believer seem to be too much to excuse for what they believe. A believer is a believer from the heart. It starts inside, thats why it should stays inside. Its like not to mention God those who contradicts you but to show them who you are in that way what it means to be you. Preferably in the opposite way of acting in violence. The pointing finger seems to be igorant to those who still have their youth in their blood. Youth should have their own planet until they have "understood" but that could also mean that some never will leave this planet until they die. Wait? what? :) So no one here can point any finger on someone with whom they literally dont live with.

I would not mind being called a Christian if some believers would not be grade a jerks

I understand. None of us want to hold associations with such people, or wear the same labels as them. It's ultimately your choice how you identify; I'm not trying to convince you one way or the other.

When I was a practicing Catholic, I took that name seriously. I was proud and still am that I took the sacraments and the type of devotion the Church has.

Then I found out many people hate Catholicism. It made me feel they hated me. Like they said if I dont turn to Christ (as if I didnt) I wouldnt know god. A pastor found I was catholic and changed his serman to talk about free masons.

Now I realized that other peoples opinions of my ex faith does not void my being catholic

Nor

Does that comment void you from being christian.

I am proud to say my grandmother was part of the Eastern Star before she passed, that my ancestors call me, and the spirits watch over me too. Im proud to have a relationship with the Earth and this makes me, me.

Im proud to be Pagan.

Yes, there is mess they say about me (as said for yourself). Unlike when I was Catholic, when people put down my family (my religion as a whole) they dont insult my ego but they insult me.

Thats where maturity comes in. When you can be punched and say "who cares". I couldnt do that ad a Catholic. It wasnt Me. I can as a Pagan. Cant change me.

No one can change you and your relationship with Christ. Yeah, people will throw punches and you may not be able to dodge but least you Know who you belong to.

Emotions can trick us but our hearts cant.

A lot of the people I know on there are people I know off line. Others are people I have met on line
I had online friends via online gaming then one day they disappear , you never know the reason .
Did he find another game , or did something more serious happen , disappearing internet friends can often leave you fearing the worst . I try not to get attached nowadays
