"know less than nothing about it"There are tens of thousands of people with phds in fields ranging from mathematics, physics, geosciences and oceanography working on climate research.
The real deep irony here is that the people, like yourself, who accuse climate scientists of "groupthink" know less than nothing about it and are regurgitating false claims they picked up from anti-science media outlets.
Can you names the people involved and the dates these demands were made?
I just want people such as yourself to stop posting falsehoods and misinformation in public forums."know less than nothing about it"
Any other baseless insults you want to throw my way? Or maybe just maybe you might want to actually discuss the issue at hand?
I just want people such as yourself to stop posting falsehoods and misinformation in public forums.
Well, you could stop posting falsehoods.Truth in love said:Getting away from false hoods is my entire point.
The "science" is very often more fiction. The idea that anything labeled science and agreed upon by a small group of self appointed experts allows for the micromanagement of any persons life is a theocracy without the integrity to admit it.
If the science is really all that compelling why is force needed?
The reality is that the data keep showing us that our "climate crisis" is within the normal variations of the Earth. However there is no money or power in not prancing the public.
For the record I am not a Republican. I am someone who has watched this issue for many years. The intimidation of the public through scare tactics and repeated fraud are unacceptable and hardly science. My rights are determined by some sobs in their elitist club.
I've yet to see evidence that anything I've said (typos aside) is inaccurate.Well, you could stop posting falsehoods.

Force? What are you talking about? If the science is really all that compelling why is force needed?
Cite reputable sources. We do not trust conservatives posting anything as their options. Conservatives are way too influenced by disinformation. The reality is that the data keep showing us that our "climate crisis" is within the normal variations of the Earth. You're not republican, but you act like one. Look at your contempt for science and expertise here. You adopted this contempt from right wing disinformation. For the record I am not a Republican. False. Climate science is a community of experts, and not all agree with details in the data. They work out models and draw predictions based on the facts and data. It is not fool-proof, as they are still learning more about the environment and climate, and this adjusts the predictive models. It's not a club. It's not like-minded folks as if they are Baptists instead of Methodists. These are people trained in various sciences and experts in what they do."Climate Science" is a tiny club of like minded folks who share a select set of beliefs.
Neither is the Supreme Court, but it is selected by elected officials, so elected officials does not mean correct. Science is not subject to voting and public whim. It is a highly skilled set of people who advise politics. They are not elected, yet they often demand to have as or more power in our lives than elected officials.
Force? What are you talking about?
The USA, along with other nations, have experts in all sciences, and the right wing has caused problems by vilifying experts and denying science. This sickness started with creationism rejecting evolution, and then moved to anti-climate change beliefs, and then anti-vaccination beliefs. This sickness has meant the USA is behind in green energy development, conflicting standards to car companies and industry, more pollution, more illnesses caused by pollution, etc.

Your contempt is a right wing phenomenon, and dangerous to the USA, its citizens, and the planet.

I am glad they are not elected."Climate Science" is a tiny club of like minded folks who share a select set of beliefs. They are not elected, yet they often demand to have as or more power in our lives than elected officials.
Ok.Well I apologise for being snarky.I've yet to see evidence that anything I've said (typos aside) is inaccurate.
No one is trying to micromanage your life. Tell me, is it wrong to force people to pay the full price of the goods and services that they buy?The "science" is very often more fiction. The idea that anything labeled science and agreed upon by a small group of self appointed experts allows for the micromanagement of any persons life is a theocracy without the integrity to admit it.
Exactly, and getting actual scientific information from the Fox Propaganda Channel isn't the place.I prefer to get my information about science from scientists, not from politicians.
I am glad they are not elected.
I prefer to get my information about science from scientists, not from politicians.
I’ve yet to see any serious evidence for.Ok.Well I apologise for being snarky.
What could I show you that would you consider to be "evidence that anything you've said is inaccurate"?
What type of things are we talking?
What do you mean by “force”? And who are “they” that are doing the forcing? But why do I have their beliefs forced on me?
You may have noticed that calf just banned the sale of gas cars in a few years. What do you mean by “force”? And who are “they” that are doing the forcing?
I am sorry to keep asking these annoying questions, but I honestly don’t understand what you are saying.
I have never seen or heard of a scientist using force, unless you are talking about a “forceful argument” with “compelling evidence”. In that way a reasonable person might be “forced” to accept their conclusions.
So your complaint is about the government (elected) and not scientists (not elected). You may have noticed that calf just banned the sale of gas cars in a few years.
I’m paying high prices for “green energy” being taxed for countless “save the earth” projects.
If I don’t go along I get published by the government.
So your complaint is about the government (elected) and not scientists (not elected).
But when you talk about your suffering I can’t help but think about all the people suffering from drought, from flood, from extreme weather conditions. I think about the suffering that is going to come when more and more places on earth become unliveable. And the economic disruption that will come from climate change will be hundreds of times greater than the little efforts we have made to try to mitigate.
To put it succinctly - You ain’t seen nuttin yet.
