Will Russia use nukes?

How do know the vote was fake? How do you know who is telling lies?

I’m pretty sure at this point that everyone’s telling lies. And there’s no simple solution to an intractable problem. At some point there will have to be a negotiated settlement involving compromise on all sides. I’d prefer to see my own country’s government advocating for that approach, rather than arming one side in the hope of the total collapse of the perceived enemy. Russia after Putin will still have grievances btw. Will the West ignore those grievances? It would be perilous to do so.

Perhaps Putin remembers the Cuban Missile Crisis (probably ten at the time), and where the Soviet Union ultimately backed down, so that it is now the turn of the West to be humiliated. But, as per then, often events can revolve around rather unexpected circumstances, such as an officer refusing to obey an order.

But I think I did predict that Putin would actually invade Ukraine, even if such was not particularly sensible, and he seems to have got his gambling wrong - as to Ukraine just falling over and the West not responding. Now he is in this mess, anything is possible - but hopefully the sensible option of him being removed will occur before he unleashes what could be rather disastrous for his nation as much as for all of us.

We now have the a Ukrainian "Sudetenland" land grab which of course Ukraine and the west won't recognize. So Ukraine will continue to take back its territory which Russia has now claimed as theirs.
Is recognition by West all that important. There are countries who are doing fine without recognition. If Ukraine continues the war, Russia also will. Ukraine is already devastated, it will then be more heavily devastated. That is a zero sum game. I don't think Russia will use nukes, that will be too much.

Unfortunately, there's a good chance Putin will use tactical nukes and/or poison gas. Trouble is that this could lead to a tit-for-tat ramping up to a full nuclear confrontation.

Not sure what Putin will do. I guess anything is possible at this point. Considering the state of readiness of his military forces has been revealed to be less than optimal, it makes me wonder how many of his nuclear warheads will actually work.

Khrushchev was also pretty reckless playing nuclear chicken, but the Soviets removed him.

A well made point. The cores of nuclear weapons have to be reprocessed periodically which is pretty expensive. Given the corruption and larceny of the Putin regime on the national budget, I suspect these weapons are as ill prepared for use as his army was.

The situation is worse than possible Putin insanity.
He's emotionally invested in conquering Ukraine.

It looks like his latest effort, drafting (or whatever their term is) hundreds of thousands into the military is proceeding as well as the rest of his war has gone - utterly badly. We have physical violence, guys rushing to every border, reports that some draftees left when they were told they'd have to buy sleeping bags Russian conscripts desert barracks after sleeping on floor | News | The Times and even his supporters questioning publicly what is going on.

And there have been comments in the media about how this is having a negative effect on the Russian economy.

Am I stupid? No. Our enemy is satan.
So I am confused..

Estro Felino said: Ukraine hoping to win against Russia...

You replied: But what if their President is Antichrist from Bible. ..

I replied to you thinking you meant Putin was the Antichrist?

You replied to me say that president Putin was not the Antichrist.

I replied to you asking if you meant president Zelenski?

Now you replied implying no, you meant our enemy Satan. So my question is: Who are you referring to when you say "their President" in the context of the war between Ukraine and Russia?

Basic Supplies Needed In The Event of Nuclear Attack

The DEFCON Warning System advises citizens in the Ukraine theatre being preparing in the event of a nuclear attack.

There is no cause for alarm, and there is no imminent nuclear threat at this time. This is only advisory.

In additional to shelter, supplies are needed. A shelter without supplies is not a shelter but a tomb.

The Antichrist is President, but he is no acting like Antichrist. Killing people is not enough, for example Hitler was killing US soldiers. When Antichrist will start blaspheme Christianity, then he will become Antichrist.

Where is the not yet acting as Antichrist President residing right now?

This is certainly not going to help prevent a nuclear war!
