"willfully retained and disclosed classified materials"

OK.... Biden is a better man than trump. By far.

What's the problem?

Would you like to prosecute biden?

Any malice? Maybe a jan 7, day after atrocity? He won!
YEAH; If I had done the same thing I would probably still be in Leavenworth .
Report says "Hur says evidence didn't support charging the president: While the investigation revealed that Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials” after leaving office"

I wonder why you forgot to bold this line. I'd say insufficient evidence to convict is pretty important in a trial, wouldn't you?
They say they don't think they can get a conviction because of his age and memory problems. It literally tells you the laws he violated. If you read the laws, and know what he did, it is clear he broke those laws.

So the five (5) was a miscue on your part! it's ok to make a typeO.

own it
No, it was intentional. My comment was that I don't think he can last 5 more years. It makes sense if he is re elected he will serve another 5 years from now. That was my point and what I wrote.

I get it. You do not already accept that he has the remainder of the current term without exception.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
The report said that Biden was:
"sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory." Hur, throughout the more than 300-page report, said "it would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him" of a serious felony "that requires a mental state of willfulness," and said he would be "well into his eighties.""

So let me get this straight. Prosecutors could not convince a jury he has the "mental state of willfulness" to do wrong; however it appears people think he can run the country.........
I know. It's completely nuts isn't it?

But if Biden is what the majority of people want then so be it. That’s why there’s a vice president. Harris is pretty young so she could take over. And then run again as president.

Now I’m not sure if taking over for an elected president counts as a term since they weren’t elected as president. It might be that Harris can be president for over 8 years.

Yes it does. If one has served less than two years one can run twice for President. If one has served over two years one can run only once.

No charges since there is no evidence of deliberate intent.

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! You definitely don’t deliberately put classified papers in your garage, house and office. You accidentally pull them out of your Presidential office, mistakenly put them in your car and, without thinking, dropped then off in other locations… that is why...

Hur’s investigation concluded that there is “evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen,"

Accidentally Willfully retained documents.

Gee whiz. Too bad you aren’t with the DOJ so you could indict Biden yourself. But it was some other conservative who couldn’t find evidence.

You are a lawyer, right? I’d hate to think you are forming legal opinions without any knowledge or expertise. Because then we could ignore it as irrelevant.

Pence did the same thing. Or did you forget that? These people are handling these papers every day and often are working at home late into the night. If you or I did it would be a once in a lifetime event. But when they go to work is, oh great, more classified documents:rolleyes: Both Pence and Biden when they found their papers reported them. Trump purposefully took whole file cabinets of them home on purpose. At first he refused to even turn them over. Then he turned over some but lied about still having far more than either Bush or Pence had. Eventually a surprise raid had to be performed to get the rest of the papers that he stole.

The evidence supports that for both of them it was an accident. When Trump tried to hide documents after claiming to have turned them over he was without excuse.

Then either apply the law with a blindfold over the eyes or don’t apply the law at all! Otherwise it looks like a political hack against a potential rival. If you have security clearance at your job and are not allowed to take papers out - what would happen if they found some classified in your house?
