Wisdom of the day....maybe

I'll try, but can't guarantee it.

An option to do something stupid actually came up immediately after this. I used my head and now it won't be done, instead I will have a lot of popcorn. Blessed be wisdom. As it says in Proverbs: "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding."

Thanks CT.

Unfortunately stupidity and ignorance are usually hand in hand.
There is only so much one is capable of considering before stepping off a cliff.

Always remember to use your head before you do something stupid

This reminds me of a scene in Sidekicks (1992) where the character Barry is practicing with his nunchaku and accidently hits himself on the head or ear with them. His instructor responded, 'It's called "using your head," Barry.' After quickly recovering, Barry gets back into action and then quite stupidly hits himself in the testicles with the nunchaku. :tearsofjoy:

Yep. Think before you act.

Before my father retired, he was a safety captain at the post office, and he had a t-shirt that had that phrase on the back of it: 'Think before you act.'

I did something stupid today, I ate too many fries and almost got sick

How many fries were too many for you?

I ate too many doughnuts, and don't feel great.

How many doughnuts were too many for you? I would probably not feel great after eating three.

"The fool who persists in his folly will become wise."

So the route to wisdom is by being utterly and completely foolish. I'm on my way to wisdom.
