His gaffes and confused episodes had been ticking up in the last couple years.
They should have known it would all come to ahead sooner or later and that denying and covering would no longer work.
One bad episode isn't enough. They took into account all the others as well then decided to pull the plug on him.

But he was so awful during that debate. I don't see how anyone could overcome that, let alone say afterward he wasn't going to concede.

Yeah that's is what really sunk the ship. They tried to deny it and cover for him(he was tired, he has a cold, etc) but the damage had been done.

The public saw it. The ship was taking on heavy water and was for sure going to sink. They had to have time to come up with a plan and until they had a plan, pushing Biden and denying the obvious was their only option.

Once they had a plan, they all jumped ship.

I feel sorry for Biden. Even after the debate he was falsely told by them that he had their full support and that he could do it... until they came up with a new plan and then he was pushed out.

Has he had one yet even since then debate?(he should have to help explain it).

Two months ago the claims were he wasn't too old and was mentally fit.

Now the left claims Trump's too old. They couldn't claim that until Biden dropped out.

Likewise, TV / video news is across the board terrible and for being so colored by the announcers, not to mention they say so little real information relative to the time. Reading is a far better use of time plus more reliable sources available.
