So have you guys seen the latest trailers for Insomniac’s Wolverine and Spider-Man 2 games? They won’t be here till 2023 unfortunately. But damn bro, I’m definitely going PS5 if they’re as good as their previous Spidey games. And Wolverine better be an R rated game. I want blood.
I’m so excited!! *starts fangirling*

No offence Spidey, but I don’t know if you could beat Wolverine in a fight :p:D
In comics wolverine would lose, but maybe in video games spidey would. See, spiderman is a technical genius, so he could outsmart wolverine. He might mess him up with tech or overwhelm his sense of smell.

Spiderman always loses the girl, but wolverine has a history of being sucker punched.

Ahh very good point.
Omg I hope this means they will be in the same universe. Maybe we’ll get to see them fight in a future cross over. I think I just increased my fangirling.

I have PS 4 now.

Looks like it’s time to get PS 5. :)

Been looking for some new games.

Thanks for the heads up.

If you're going for a PS5, I think it's important to be aware of the issue with how hot the memory modules run in its earlier hardware revisions:

PlayStation 5 memory gets toasty under load, early testing finds | TechSpot

With how difficult to find and pricey consoles can be right now, I'd probably wait for a more reliable hardware revision to come out before taking the plunge. Your mileage may vary, though.

I've had a first gen since launch (thanks to my organized wife) and had no issues.
But definitely they always make technical improvements as they go along, and often these relate to heat. It's like they don't understand their target market might just have the machine running for 12-14 hours a day...
(I mean...we use ours as a media hub on our semi-smart tv as well as for gaming, so even as a more casual user it gets a hammering)

Thanks for that wise advice.
I will definitely check it out.
I was hoping for a Black Friday splurge, but it can wait

If you can get it at a good price and with a decent warranty, I doubt the memory issue will be much of a problem, if at all. It's a good console with multiple great games, and it will only get better games as it ages.

Yes, I was a fan of Horizon zero dawn, and the sequel is only available on PS I believe. Also wouldn’t mind trying Cyber Punk. Witcher was one of my favorites.

CyberPunk isnt out on PS5 yet.
Depending on who you believe, that is either because they are doing substantial work to improve it (lots of bugs, etc on PS4 version) or because they can't work out how to fix it and it's in limbo.

Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen update release date delay gets more likely - SlashGear

I loved Witcher, and this was probably my most anticipated game ever, but I'm at the point now where I'd carefully read reviews before buying, even after it's eventual release.

Yeah, I was hoping they would get it on PS 5. Without bugs
I bought it for my PS4 but returned it after a few days because of the problems

I don't know if they are always in the same universe since they're rarely in the same places and since there could be different timelines. They are indirectly connected through Doctor Strange who knows Spiderman and probably knows about other universes. Deadpool knows spiderman as well as the x-men and appears in both Marvel and DC. One of Deadpool's greatest powers is his ability to not take himself seriously. This creates a gateway for him to exist in incompatible existences....or so I say.

True. But a girl can dream lol
Also I wouldn’t mind a Deadpool cameo. Not sure who has the rights to him these days though. Is it Disney?
