My friend owns the pornographic movie Pirates, and all apparently all throughout our Freshman year, girls would come and ask if they could borrow the movie for a bit. Thought it was interesting.

OMG! I LOVED Pirates! My friend rented it once and I've been looking for it ever since, to no avail. Hilarious - nobody guessing she's really a woman dressed as a deck swab until the end even though her cleavage is hanging out the whole time... I find that pretty much any kind of porn is "effective" in terms of being a slight turn-on, but none of it is engaging or enjoyable unless the woman is enjoying herself (Pirates being the exception to the rule). That only happens in amateur videos, IME. Even then, it's rare. If I watch "mainstream" porn, I always need to shut it off before the inevitable "in the face" shot, or I start gagging.
I do the same thing. When the woman starts yelling for the money shot, I'm like....shut....up.

I think we all have our preferences based on our own personalities, relationships with men/women and past experiences and we probably change preferences through time. I have gone through many stages, where some things turn me on far more than others but now that thing deosn't work for me and something completely different does.
