Rape is essentially debasing, whether done by a man or a woman. It typically happens that its victims suffer problems with trust and intimacy for long periods afterwards. And that can be the least of it.

Yes it does happen though not commonly (due to men typically being stronger and lustier.)

I don't know about the US definitions, but this kind of rape is more rare and like female rape, will likely go unreported. The guy penetrating isn't the main point here though, he can also be penetrated or otherwise used.

Yes, being forced to penetrate does occur. As for how often, that depends what studies you read. Some put it as high as 1:1 whilst others put it at 4:1 (women victims: men victims). Personally I don't know anyone who has been raped.

Getting help and support is difficult for female victims. It must be all but impossible for male victims.

Even confiding in someone to admit that one is a victim of rape is no small challenge, and it becomes that much harder for men.

Not that I am aware of, but there is no good reason to expect that I would learn of it anyway.

"Average woman" when it comes to strength and size, I assume?

It must be every bit as disturbing as it is to a female victim, perhaps considerably more even. For good or worse, women tend to be at least somewhat forewarned of the danger and may brace the shock slightly better for that reason.

Rape is inherently violent and abusive. The cultural circunstances may make dealing with it considerably easier or harder, though.

It's ok man, I wasn't thinking about your comment there. Rape is just a theme that people who don't anything about it often make crude jokes about which is highly discouraging to real victims. It's cruelty based on ignorance though.

Yes, it's something that when it happens in conservative community there is no one to talk to and the victim is alone. If he tries to open up it will lead to jokes about the whole thing. It's something most people know nothing about in western societies, even less than the male on female rape.
