Martin Luther King, Jr.m a strong man, called upon us to fulfill our commitment to liberty for all. This was his dream, his vision. In order to "proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabits" (as the Bible tells it), Dr. King had first to set his mind free of slavish thoughts and attitudes. Proclaim your liberty today from the particular chains that hold you in bondage. Proclaim liberty in your soul.

Carlita; Yet another very interesting opening post

Liberty - hmm - what DOES it imply..?....Liberty is like an "animal"..??...Yet mans liberty it says first is a "bad" thing makes us over step boundaries that we have no authority to cross...we are IGNORANT of our Self (once again it ALWAYS comes back to this issue of mind and Self awareness)..

I have to agree with that fully - mankind DOES indeed TAKE liberties all the time dont we..?...Without care we do as WE PLEASE - and this is the "bad" element as we just dont know or understand our reality well enough and so we ENFORCE our will upon the natural order of things, take liberties as we say.....Liberty itself then - is really an issue of FREE CHOICE..??..of WILL(power) and again of DOMINATION of that Will by "others"..

Animsls though - far more natural - they DO understand and hardly ever cross their natural boundaries - never take liberties but simply exist in HARMONY without effort at all....And it says the ONLY way to gain profit from liberty is to follow "god" the ETERNAL TRUTH - and again - I agree here totally - for that is the same advise as my mate Christ telling us explicitly to first before all things - come to KNOW THY SELF FULLY - come to know the Self AS that ETERNAL TRUTH - then and only then - will your liberty - your FREE WILL and the actions that follow, bring you "profit"...Only then - with this eternal Self truth fully disclosed - can you indeed live in NATURAL HARMONY with the rest of Creation just as the other animals do...Liberty then - not so much about how man treats man - or lack or equality among men - but far more about how man fits into the bigger wider schism of Creation itself and how much we understand about that eternal truth ..Again we see - its all about Mind -Self awareness
