According to your beliefs. But you still seem to be constraining us all to your perspective, and allowing no others. At least I allow for all sorts of beliefs - even if they are probably (definitely) all wrong.
So your "genuine passenger" shouldn't care about anything that happens to them in life and shouldn't do anything to improve their situation, regardless of any abuse, pain or suffering they face? Why are you even posting here, getting entangled in conflicts that have nothing to do with our "destination"?If passenger is genuine passenger, rather than just came to take a ride. Why would that passenger get entangled in any conflict ? passenger will focus on his/her destination.
If nothing in life makes any difference to the "destination", why shouldn't we just all commit suicide and get there straight away?Whereas, genuine passenger -- always think that all people are passengers, all will go same heaven one day or another.
Isn't the metaphor you described already a teaching of sorts?
The way I heard it, some decades ago, was that we are all on said train journey and during the journey the train stops for short periods so that we can see the sights.
Then some people get too attached to the sights and stay there forgetting about their original destination,
What if there were a person on the train INSISTING that everyone go to the same destination? Or, what if they simply assumed in conversation with every single other person that their destination was what this person says it is? Do you think that might not cause some people on the train to be bothered? If the person just kept on repeating themselves over and over again, stating that "You're going here." or "Won't it be great when we all get to [insert place]?" And no matter how many times you told them you weren't intent on going to that destination, they just kept on repeating that everything will be great when we get where they say we're going. If all world people start thinking that this world is just a journey, NOT permanent home. What will happen then ?
Suppose, world is a train -- train is NOT a house -- nobody isn't going to stay in train for ever -- all are passengers -- travel companions -- for some time -- NOT for ever.
Genuine passengers never fights -- never try to do anything evil -- or problematic -- in fact, try to bear non-genuine passengers/inconveniences/problems incurred during the journey --.because important is the destination, NOT the journey -- genuine passenger always try to avoid/ignore problems incurred during the journey.
This alone thinking can bring all goodness among people, by default. No any kind of teachings is required further if one understand this correctly -- wholeheartedly.
Only non genuine passengers always try to create problems during the journey.
I believe, this is the only one teaching taught to us by God. If one start thinking him/herself as passenger in this world -- most of the worldly problems will automatically get resolved.
All problems start when we think that we are going to live in this world for ever -- its the root cause of every problem/fight among people in this world

Of course, a passenger can improve lifestyle inside the train -- journey -- to make it a easy and pleasant journey. But, don’t try to make train/journey a permanent home.So your "genuine passenger" shouldn't care about anything that happens to them in life and shouldn't do anything to improve their situation, regardless of any abuse, pain or suffering they face?
Am just talking/chatting with other passengers. No conflicts. Why are you even posting here, getting entangled in conflicts that have nothing to do with our "destination"?
No. death is NOT the solution because rebirth happens after death. Actually, death-of-desires is the real death, Or say death of desire to permanently live in the train/world/journey -- is the death in deed.If nothing in life makes any difference to the "destination", why shouldn't we just all commit suicide and get there straight away?
True that. That is also a good analogy. The way I heard it, some decades ago, was that we are all on said train journey and during the journey the train stops for short periods so that we can see the sights.
Then some people get too attached to the sights and stay there forgetting about their original destination,
So many different questions at the one same time. What if there were a person on the train INSISTING that everyone go to the same destination? There now - doesn't that sound like the sort of behavior you'd expect from someone who wasn't quite right in the head?
It never ceases to amaze me how often theists' analogies can be lit as if they had a fuse and explode gloriously in the theist's face.
I do it all the time on this site. You break it into manageable chunks. I know you have seen me do this as well. Besides this, there is one, cohesive idea being forged in my post - you could respond to that instead. So many different questions at the one same time.
Seriously, its NOT possible to answer them all at the one same time.
Amen!I do it all the time on this site. You break it into manageable chunks. I know you have seen me do this as well. Besides this, there is one, cohesive idea being forged in my post - you could respond to that instead.
In my opinion this is just another excuse for you to avoid answering an uncomfortable question that forces you to examine your own motives and potentially have to come to uncomfortable conclusions. Not surprising, honestly. This sort of thing happens all the time.
To need to go anywhere. God reside inside every atom. He's everywhere. Even, re-union with God is within every human.Chinu, I think we are trapped in this planet. I cannot think of any process which will make our atoms go anywhere else, for example to Moon, Venus or Mars.
Beautiful! This reminds me of a beautiful lesson I learned from Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. and the Holy Qur'an:
If all world people start thinking that this world is just a journey, NOT permanent home. What will happen then ?

But life is a journey and Earth is our permanent home.If all world people start thinking that this world is just a journey, NOT permanent home. What will happen then ?
even if it is a transient affair, it is no reason to trash the place, good travelers leave the place better than they found it....it is just good form, is it not?But life is a journey and Earth is our permanent home.
And if we can't sort this world out, we don't appear to have the wit to sort any other world out either.
If all world people start thinking that this world is just a journey, NOT permanent home. What will happen then ?
