However...the decision to ignore anything and everything which looks even vaguely like conspiracy theory, or religion/mysticism based prediction, is also a kind of signal blindness.

There is plenty of information about the actual mobilisations and war preparations which are occurring daily, and accelerating.

You could choose to look at the information with a discriminating mind. Or you could just look at wacko sites for bias confirmation, which seems so much easier...

I'd wager "what is happening" is up for interpretation. Again, please present these "unmistakable" signs. Proper citations, from relevant experts, and reputable outlets. No, asking for evidence of your claims is not "determination to not even look." It's asking where to look to assess your claims. I'm not a fan of invoking burden of proof, but it is pretty solidly in your arena.
