3. As I mentioned in a previous post, moving 1000 troops from a NATO base in Germany to a NATO base in Poland does not a 'mobilisation for WW3' make. There's been 30,000+ US troops in Germany alone since WW2 finished. I assume this is the kind of thing that you are confusing for 'mobilisation in preparation for imminent WW3'. You do know there are many NATO bases in Europe don't you? And that it is not uncommon move between them either raising or decreasing the number of troops there? And that total NATO troop numbers based in continental Europe have actually decreased over the past few years?

I have talked about this many times on RF. I don't recall you responding.

I believe that the human race is headed for a self inflicted cataclysmic event. Likely ending ourselves and most of the biggest species. This is due to the convergences of environmental degradation and depletion with increasingly deadly weapon tech in a context of human nature.
But I don't think it extremely imminent, likely a generation or so. And I don't think canned fish and powdered milk supplies are going to help. Not even personal weapons and fortifications. Either we head the disaster off by changing our ethics and behavior, or those supplies will just prolong your post apocalyptic agonies.

PS If I were planning for an imminent event I would be stockpiling high proof rum. I could raise my own personal militia in a post apocalyptic world with alcohol and then get anything I want.
