Would God approve homosexual "unions"

The scriptures teach that homosexual acts are sinful (Romans 1: 26-28), thus it is logical to conclude He wouldn't endorse same-sex marriages/civil unions, etc.

Homosexuality is an imbalance, not a sin and all imbalances eventually find balance.

A literal interpretation of the bible is an imbalance of gullibility due to believing it means what you were told it means, while not having the insight "another imbalance" to discern its hidden wisdom for yourself.

Homosexual sex is immoral - 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11

An example of imbalance would be born with 2 left feet......

Would God approve of marriages done in other god's name? Or marriages done by non-worshippers? Does God approve of marriages done by several-times divorcees? Does it matter? Should Christians get to dictate what marriage and civil marriages are recognized by the state? I don't think so. Set policy within your own church, but marriage does not belong to Christians outside of it.

:( I know you didn't mean this in an insulting way. An imbalance? That is like calling us broken or off like we're not "normal." Do you mean people's actions or our sexual orientation? How does sexual orientation make anyone imbalanced?

God created the Heavens and Earth (Genesis 1: 1-2)
God created humans (Genesis 1: 26-27).
God created marriage between male human and female human (Genesis 2: 24) - doesn't matter who marries them.......

It says exactly what I said and MORE..........take off the blinders
I am not saying Romans doesn't say what it says. Yet 1 Corinthians says "it is not good for a man to have sexual relations with a woman" so my point is sex is bad mcay according to the bible. Even if it isn't same sex, so riddle me that. Marriage is a way to not live in sin according to 1 Corinthians 7:9

So your quoting more scripture listing sins and fornicators is not helpful, it doesn't change what i said and the scripture I pointed to, especially when the bible is even blasting on opposite sex relations, which I assume you think is ok, the bible would disagree with you on that particular point.

Sadly this is exactly what some people (In the Name of Family, Catholic group) are trying to force in Croatia, also reject books from schools which are against Christian teachings (like Crime & Punishment, Perfume, etc.). I am a religious person, but I don't mind what state is doing as long as it doesn't have direct effect on my life, for example same sex marriages have absolutely no effect in my life, to each their own. But sadly some people can't get their noses out of other's lives.

Not at all as an insult, just a point of fact not one of morality.
All of creation is nothing more than 2 halves of the samething. They are sex pairs. I mean everything, even elements.
Male/Female are 2 halves of a whole and are divided as such in order to unite and re create.
Male/Male or Female/Female is not a universally speaking balanced pair as intended.
This has nothing to do with hating on anyone. I accept everyone. It is simply a universal truth.

Example of imbalance (in nature) is living in celibacy, since people must multiply since Allah did command us to prosper. So technically speaking, priests, nuns, etc. are sinning really hard. Homosexuals (not all) are born that way & they have no choice, while priests, nuns, etc. do have a choice.

God creating no such thing as morality, god created balance. Man created morality.

God doesn't punish. Man punishes himself. God is love and peace and neither of those punish.

C-Faith. Youre not getting it. You're comparing apples to oranges here

I'ma repeat. Provide a rebuttal if you want me to take your views more seriously than saying "you are wrong."

1. Where does the bible say homosexuality is about someone's sexual orientation?
2. Where in the Bible does it say marriage has to do with heterosexual actions?
3. Where in the Bible does it say sexual orientation is a sin?
4. Where in the Bible does it define marriage as an action?
5. Where in the Bible does it define homosexuality as sexual orientation?

Can't you see what you are doing.

You are saying homosexuals are sinners because they commit homosexal actions and they have homosexual marriages.

"Commiing actions" and "getting married" are choices. Anyone can choose whatever they want to do.

It has nothing to do with sexual orientation. This applies to all people. Straight people can get married as two people of the same gender.

You are mixing apples (GBLTS) and oranges (Homosexual acts). They have nothing to do with each other. The Bible does not mention the former, it mentions the latter. It applies to all people.

What do you not understand?

The scripture forbids interfaith marriage and remarriage outside widows and those with adulterous partners. But the Christian church is not asked nor is allowed to set policy on either for the state. Only within their own churches.

So it doesn't matter to me or secular policy what is disapproved of in the Christian faith. I didn't get married in a church and I did not require your or the Christian god's approval.

Which, like I said, is fine for those of you who choose to follow the Bible.
The problem is that it does not hold water to those who do not follow the Bible.
