Would this embarrass you?

Would it embarrass you if you just got out of the shower. In nothing but a towel. And your friend of the opposite gender is waiting downstairs to say hi you?And they happen to be your age?And you didn't know they were downstairs?

"Be strong", I whispered to my coffee.

No. We are all human.

When i was much younger if I'd walked down stairs in nothing but a towel to see someone not expected I'd have apologised, said I'll just go and get changed, won't be long. Now it depends on the friend, i know some would be embarrassed so as above, otherwise I'd just ask if they want a coffee then sit and chat.

It reminds me of when my friends forced me to watch a soccer game...and I got lost...and mysteriously...I ended up, (by chance, I underline that) in the players' locker room.
And I acted like Alison...

Frank, your obsession with naked people is getting rather tiring. You are in your mid-thirties, don't you think that perhaps it is time to stop s******ing at something entirely natural.

I can’t lie, I’m starting to think Frank is posting his sexual fantasies under the guise of an innocent question.
When I volunteered on a helpline we would get guys calling to talk about specific “problems” like they were pretending to be distressed about, but really it was a fantasy call

I think most of the population is "obsessed" with naked people. The majority don't talk about it. It's in the sexuality forum. I don't see the problem here.

No one asked you to lie. That said, not calling someone out isn't lying.

This is the sexuality form. I'm not understanding the issue.

“I can’t lie” is just an expression that is commonly used where I’m from when speaking informally - it’s like another way of saying “I have to be honest..”

Yes, it’s the sexuality forum and I was sharing my suspicions about the possible intentions behind these repeated posts relating to nudity. What is the issue?

Yes. I understand this...and I always thought both were pointless expressions, unless we are expected to be skeptical of anything else you say that isn't prefaced by this.

I already told you what this issue was above. I see nothing productive in risking embarrassing someone by calling them out on what is possibly a sexual fantasy. Especially given the venue.

I couldn’t care less

With a close friend? No. Those few people whom I count as friends, well, I would share tents, baths and beds with them... (And have done so, in several cases)
With a casual acquaintance? A bit, because it's an awkward breach of social norms. But a "let me just get dressed" would pretty much take care of the situation, so no big deal.
