If I was a theist with children, I would tell God that my children are not your playthings for your amusement as a test of loyalty. As if a god didn't, or wouldn't know in the first place.would you choose God over your Children.
For example ?would you choose God over your Children.
Suppose you have 2 childrens. If I was a theist with children, I would tell God that my children are not your playthings for your amusement as a test of loyalty. As if a god didn't, or wouldn't know in the first place.
I'ld be hardpressed to choose anything over my children.would you choose God over your Children.
I would think they decent parent would endeavor to preserve both his or her children unequivocally.Suppose you have 2 childrens.
Would you choose your one child over your another one ? then what will be your answer ?
But, sadly that is not the choice given to you.I would think they decent parent would endeavor to preserve both his or her children unequivocally.
I don't think that the author of this OP is capable of presenting any specific scenario.Did you have a specific scenario in mind?
Well there would have to be one, unless choice is ripped away by force. But, sadly that is not the choice given to you.
Of course not. That would be stupid.would you choose God over your Children.
I assumed that it was a direct reference to Abraham. Of course, I may be mistaken.I don't think that the author of this OP is capable of presenting any specific scenario.
I believe it is the better option: God is good but my children love sin.would you choose God over your Children.
I believe my experience is that God doesn't play.If I was a theist with children, I would tell God that my children are not your playthings for your amusement as a test of loyalty. As if a god didn't, or wouldn't know in the first place.
Of course , that would get me smited over my bravery at admonishing the almighty. ;0)
That's an awful thing to sayI believe it is the better option: God is good but my children love sin.
I believe Abraham's son was a gift from God. Sometimes we get the idea that we own our children when the truth is they are only given to us for short time. I have mine back because they live with me.Abraham did
I wouldn't
As far as I care Abraham failed the test
So if you came to believe one way or the other that your god wants you to stab your children to death, you'ld do it?I believe it is the better option: God is good but my children love sin.
Children own themselves, to call them a "gift" is to call them propertyI believe Abraham's son was a gift from God. Sometimes we get the idea that we own our children when the truth is they are only given to us for short time. I have mine back because they live with me.
I have 2 kids. I by no means think that I "own" them.I believe Abraham's son was a gift from God. Sometimes we get the idea that we own our children when the truth is they are only given to us for short time. I have mine back because they live with me.
