I don't have any interest and I don't have any talent so I can't speak about anyone but me.

Depends on who's teaching. If I got one from some lauded professional, sure.

What? Me worry?
to learn how to write songs for others singers

Uhh...just write a song for yourself. Other singers will take notice. I'm not sure what a "song writing lesson" can teach you about writing a song that you don't already know.

There is more to musical composition than lyrical songs for pop musicians. Any serious musician can benefit from understanding how various types of music are constructed, and a teacher can be beneficially if for no other reason than going to one shows your personal commitment to it.

But all that is for just the technical aspects. There is something that cannot be taught, which is your own expressive musical voice. That's a self-discovery. For that, learn to breathe and let life flow through you, then take the technical tools and combine them with love.
