I currently have no one on my ignore. I have used the function in the past for various reasons. But I have never told the person I put on ignore that I did it, I have never "threatened" to put someone on ignore like it is some great punishment for them.

To be honest, I don't pay much attention to who is posting what. I just pay attention to what they are posting. And if I become annoyed by what they're posting I stop reading their posts in that conversation. I would only put someone on 'ignore' if they were following me around to different threads and trying to be annoying. But that would be a very rare occurrence.

I don't use the ignore function. However, there are some posters I ignore, as in I scroll past their posts, for one reason or another. Not many, but a few. Tbh, the only names that stick out to me are those I have recurring interactions with or those that stick out as someone whose posts I'm not interested in.

BTW, there is "pie" in "piety", which doesn't mean having the quality of being pie-like.
The smell makes me nauseous and puts me off pie.

Looks like I have just over 70 people on ignore. Most are people who I put there when they were new members, when it seemed to me that they were just here to troll. I expect that not many of them have stuck around, but I don't really care enough to go through my list and clean it up.
For people who have been around for a while, I start thinking about putting them on ignore if they meet 3 criteria:
1. They're annoying to deal with,
2. I dont think I'll be able to learn anything from them, and
3. I can still follow the threads I'm interested with them on ignore.
I'm here in what's supposedly my fun time; I'm fine with tweaking my experience here to make it better by tuning out annoyances.
(And @Debater Slayer - you don't meet any of my criteria)
