Exactly. New evidence will arise only when we are open to them. That is what I am doing, So please don't flaunt the consensus-as-evidence line.We accept the consensus as true until the consensus changes, and you go with the new consensus. Scientists are not loyal to conclusions. They are loyal to the evidence. When new evidence arises that calls for an amendment to the conclusions, you go with that new evidence. Never does having a consensus mean that research stops.
I recall your saying that we must follow the consensus of the scholars. Thanks for the change. When new evidence arises
If you think you've fooled anyone with your quote-mining and misrepresentation of what @IndigoChild5559 said, you're sorely mistaken.I recall your saying that we must follow the consensus of the scholars. Thanks for the change.
Which one?I took the translation of the quran from saudi arabia.
Do you remember saying "you got it from Saudi"? And now you say "The Saudi copy is at my house"?The Saudi copy is at my other house. However, I attach a number of translations.

Excuse me? The answer didn't change. I added details to it, but I didn't change it. Go back and read what I posted again.I recall your saying that we must follow the consensus of the scholars. Thanks for the change.
It is the EXPERTS who reach a new consensus by analyzing new evidence. Not me. Not you.Exactly. New evidence will arise only when we are open to them. That is what I am doing, So please don't flaunt the consensus-as-evidence line.
That is tricky. There is then no way to reach truth if experts are wrong. You will be reckoned as a non.expert if you do not uphold the consensus. Consider political experts at the time of Hitler. The solution is to rely on the word of your inner God, not experts. Not me. Not you.
You are misquoting me. I had said I recall. So nothing inconsistent with my other house.Do you remember saying "you got it from Saudi"? And now you say "The Saudi copy is at my house"?
Agree. So please enlighten me about the . West. Problem. You don't know where I am
Yes. I did not say I have it with me. Apologies if I seemed to say otherwise.Do you remember saying "you got it from Saudi"? And now you say "The Saudi copy is at my house"?
Agree. So please enlighten me about the . West. Problem. I am happy to accept you as my teacher. You don't know where I am
It's not that the experts are never wrong. Its that you and I lack the necessary knowledge to judge them. If you or I actually had that much information, we would be counted AMONG the experts. Do you have a PhD? I know I don't. If I ever put myself on par with an expert, please God smite me for my arrogance. That is tricky. There is then no way to reach truth if experts are wrong.
What west problem?West. Problem.
Here is the Saudi translation from my other house. What west problem?

Question is whether the word “west” used in Quran 28:44 refers to Prophet Muhammad or to Prophet Musa. What west problem?
wamā | kunta | bijānibi | al-gharbiyi | iz | qaḍaynā | ilā |
And not | You were | On the side | west | when | We decreed | to |
mūsā | al-amra | wamā | kunta | mina | al-shāhidīna |
Musa | commandment | And not | You were | Among | Witnesses. |
What's the implication of either of the dichotomy?Question is whether the word “west” used in Quran 28:44 refers to Prophet Muhammad or to Prophet Musa.
