red hearing through ignorance is still a hearing

JHVH is how the name is transliterated in English. Many Hebrew names are similarly anglicized, including Jesus, Joshua, Jeremiah, Isaiah, etc. No one seriously suggests we use only the original Hebrew name for these men, especially since we don't know exactly how their names were pronounced in ancient Hebrew. Neither can anyone say with certainty how God's name was pronounced in ancient Hebrew. Nor does it matter. What is most important is to use the divine Name and honor the person it represents. As Jesus said, we should pray to God: "Let your Name be sanctified." (Matthew 6:9.10)
