Yahweh is immoral

If you claim that your god is omnipotent, then yes.
No, no.
Omnipotent does not mean that logic is thrown out the window.
That is the same as suggesting that G-d expects us to believe nonsense. :)

It is nonsense to say that something can be immortal and die.

It's up to your spouse.
Adultery is not cheating on your spouse, it's cheating against G-d and hence yourself.
It is not lawful to cohabit with any other than a person you are legally married to .. a registration that the community acknowledges, along with the responsibilities which marriage entails.
It is legal to marry more than one woman.

So you don't go with literal omnipotence as did your medieval ancestors. Just a maximal power that is logically possible. Several miracles are not logically possible.
Also, immortality does not mean invulnerable. It just means that one does not die from aging or degeneration.

Adultery is not cheating on your spouse, it's cheating against G-d and hence yourself.
Adultery is cheating on your spouse.
It is not lawful to cohabit with any other than a person you are legally married to .
That is a stupid law.
It is legal to marry more than one woman.
It should be legal for people to marry multiple people, irrespective of gender.

A miracle does not defy logic, it defies physical laws.
And then some cases defying the the physical law entails a violation of the law of contradiction. Which is why I specifically said several miracles, and the not all miracles.

..to you as a disbeliever, maybe..
Yep. Although it didn't track even when I was still a believer. I just didn't think about it that much.

As a response, Ditto doesn't mean much from that context.
That is disbelief.
Again not very meaningful. From Animism to Zoroastrianism, almost everything any of us think and do is disbelief in the mores of some religion.

I take that back. What it means is that you are trying to get me to regard your religion as though it is special. And not just another face in the crowd.

What about adultery, and charging interest to your neighbour?
Is that OK?

Yes, and one of them is essential to the global economy, despite your idealistic bs, you have no viable alternative. Despite giving you plenty of rope you failed dismally to offer anything tangible beyond the dystopian nightmare of destroying global economics.

For example controlling usury, so that the rates are not punitive, but people, countries, and organisations who need credit, which is everyone basically, can still get it. yet all you seem interested in destroying, and not creating. Anyone can tear down capitalism, and point out its deficiencies, that takes no talent or intelligence.

They most certainly do violate a basic principle of logic, since all miracles are defined using an argumentum ad ignorantiam fallacy.

Miracle
noun
  1. an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency.
Miracles, by definition, are an appeal to or argument from ignorance fallacy.

Abrahamic religion is special.
It is monotheistic and has the greatest number of adherents.

Priceless, two logical fallacies in one post:

Abrahamic religion is special.

A special pleading fallacy, you even use the word special, hilarious.

It is monotheistic and has the greatest number of adherents.

An argumentum ad populum fallacy. Also there is no it, as there are literally thousands of different monotheistic religions who ostensibly believe in the same deity, and different deities based on nothing more than arbitrary chance, based on where and when a person is born.

Highly commendable .. but there is more.

What about adultery, and charging interest to your neighbour?

That isn't hard to understand... love doesn't commit adultery and then again, love has mercy towards the adulterer.

Ursury has no love.

Can G-d snuff Himself out? No .. it makes no sense.
The reason why the spirit [soul] doesn't die at death, is because it is immortal. Immortal things don't get snuffed out.

I think you misunderstood what I said. I simply said that if you don't want to be with God, He will honor your decision. I didn't say snuffed out.

You are AMAZING! Unless you just lied :D Let me ask your mom.
Since he is an atheist, I infer he does not believe sin is real, therefore sinning would be impossible. I cannot offend a deity that does not exist, and since I don't believe any deity exists, I cannot believe it is possible for me, or anyone else to offend it. Or that sin is anymore extant than the deities people imagine has "cursed us" with it.

Nothing amazing about it. Sin is only against a god, and I see no evidence of such. The god that you have depicted in your Bible stories falls far short of the glory of any moderately less than average human.

You do not know what you are talking about.
Capitalism as we know it today, started with protestants in Amsterdam, and they formed Banks, while colonising the Dutch East Indies.

This then moved to London, and more colonising took place and in turn fueled the Industrial revolution.
The capitalist system continues to defend its interests in keeping the west in privilege from their ill-gotten gains, keeping the former colonies down.

China is no longer going to let that happen, so we have armageddon well on its way. Evil breeds evil.

What absolute nonsense.
It is not ignorant to believe in a phenomena that defies natural laws.

There is no such religion as 'abrahamic religion'. Abrahamic religion is merely a category containing 5ish actual religions. It's not your criteria make any of them special. Well, perhaps to you.

..love doesn't commit adultery..
I think you'll find that people, regardless of their beliefs, are inclined towards sin.
It is important to know what sins are, particularly the major ones.
i.e. the law

If it wasn't necessary, G-d would not have bothered giving the Israelites the law.
Naturally, the Romans had their own laws, and were not going to promote Jewish law. What better than to corrupt religion and accuse others of heresy. :(

Maybe its because you have a different definition of sin?

not really. you can sin against the community, your family or, in some people's view, sin against yourself.
