You can not find God as a physical being

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
How would they understand differently if they don't understand what you say originally?

Do others challenge your way of thinking?
Yes of course people challenge my thought prosess :) i believe spiritual practice is ment to be understood by the one who practice the teaching how others understand it is on their own path in life.

I kind of dont expect to be understood

With this i mean the Flying Spaghetti Monster many seeking is not there to be found, the Flying Spaghetti Monster I become familiar with arise from within the practitioner of a spiritual teaching.

So by seeking outward you will not find the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the quality of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is within you.
The Flying Spaghetti Monster is a state of consciousness. Only by realizing the Flying Spaghetti Monster consciousness will you see the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Only when you find the Flying Spaghetti Monster you will know yourself, only by knowing yourself will you know the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Any thoughts?

It's the same. Using FSM doesn't do anything but discredit the point. The contextual difference is "FSM" changes a person's life. How they term the experience depends on the person but why do FSP believers only see the term in one way?

Any thoughts?

Almost. The only things I would amend would be to omit "a state of" and to change "see" to "understand."

That would mean a physical component can be examined if that were the case.

It does make a good philosophical argument though.

Lucid dreams of the divine? Quite a plot twist. '0)

A physical component of what?

When you are dreaming, are you able to examine a physical component of the one lying in bed dreaming? Most of the time you are dreaming, are you even aware of that one?

You do realise that (most) FSM believers know it is a joke and used to discredit Kansas School Board.

The context of the OP wasn't a joke. But it does annoy me with god questions and I can almost guess an atheist would say "it's all in the mind, FSM, 'I don't believe that," or something.'"

I can almost count the seconds.

There are DIR threads if atheist's views are not welcome.
