you visit Who’s Online and you see someone Giving Karma and you start rubbing your hands in anticipation.

You know your addicted .......... when the first thing you do when you come back to the office from your lunch break is instead of checking your messages, you check to see what you missed at RF. I know this because I just did.

Now I'll go check my messages. :D

You know you're addicted to RF when you're jealous of the "lower-end" hotel across the street from yours when out of state because they have free internet access. This happened to me when I was at the conference in South Dakota. I wish I had my laptop so I could go across the street and get on RF.

This was very cute. Ahhh, the simple things in life make us the happiest don't they?

.... when you look at RF every 15 min and curse how slow people respond! Write faster, dammit!!!
i'm soooo guilty of this one...If i see someone online and they're looking at my thread or a thread i posted on, and they leave the forums without first responding to what i had to say, i'm completely heartbroken!

You know you're addicted when your heart sinks when no one responds to your thread... and you check up on it constantly.... (i mean, come on people! its fruit from the creative loins of your mind! It's your baby, you want people to like it! ...in some cases anyway...)

...you repeatedly and emphatically announce your retirement from RF, yet keep coming back to post and start more threads. :biglaugh:

I was told you couldn't retire until 30 years and even then you only receive 3/4 of your total frubal income.

I was, at one time, going to take an RF break. I didn't around to doing that.
I was without the internet for about 3 weeks once, and it felt more like three months. I'm so addicted, I had every intention of going through all 50 pages of "new since last visit" threads.
