You keep hearing about a guy that's somehow everybody's daddy.

A hawt leather-clad woman with a whip "glomps" you or gives you a "squishy hug."

You find yourself pondering something like the fallacy of retrospective determinism (or some such) in a thread about bagels.

You develop a lightning fast understanding of what "DIR" means and not to post in most of them.

Christians start trying to convince people that we don't believe in some angry looking bearded man sitting on a cloud. ;)

1) You're told that Fox News is the cause of your hebetude & philistinism.....usually with less diplomatic words.
2) You're surrounded by lesbians, trannies, fundies, ferriners, heathens & other normally less visible deviants.....& you like it.
4) People with unsupported opinions, dubious facts & strong bias will accuse you of unsupported opinions, dubious facts & strong bias.
5) Even though I've temporarily lost my voice, I can still get in heated arguments.
6) You lost a "3" somewhere, & you'll be informed of it.

You smell your dinner cooking and it smells like it could be burning a bit...but you've just got to finish this one post.

You made a typo in a very long and well thought out post and the only response you get to the post is that you made a typo.

1) Someone calls atheism a religion
2) They fail to back it up

~ You find yourself carefully reading bizarre articles written by members of fringe special interest groups with a furrowed brow, then diligently searching for top quality material with which to rebut each of their factual claims.

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
You decide that no matter how burning some issues are, you simply aren't going to waste your time arguing them again (see abortion).

You realize that some egos fill rooms - and some egos fill forums. Same o same o.
