Hope you're all well!

I have been reading an excellent book called "Siddhartha's Brain".

It is all about meditation & mindfulness & the latest brain research.

I highly recommend it.

Anyways, after reading it, I decided to search Google for your amazing brain.

Tosses up some interesting sites!

Enjoy your day.

I think the most amazing thing is; it's the only means we know of, by which the universe can contemplate itself.

coincidence?

It was once (until very recently) believed (considered 'fact') that language required the evolved frontal lobe.

However, it has since been established that birds have language - and no frontal lobe.

What is the consensus among birds, on the origins of the universe, the meaning of their own existence?

And what if, having sufficiently contemplated itself, the universe--as-some-creature realised there was neither origin nor 'the meaning' ?

Well we've had a little time to think about it...

And the overwhelming consensus among free thinking humanity, is that we are skeptical of your claim.

That doesn't make us right of course!

No origin or meaning for everything you see around you. Not impossible, an interesting concept, but like most I am skeptical.
"What if..." is not a claim.

My basic idea here is that you are presenting a humanocentric view as though it were a universal.

Also, there is circular logic there.. only humans are 'the universe contemplating itself', because humans only recognise contemplation when it is in the form of human cognition, and about the aspects of hypothetical realities which humans contemplate....

Skeptical of .. my suggestion that unproved belief in origin and 'the meaning of life' may not be the bedrock of 'contemplation.

Rather than skeptical of unprovable beliefs ?

Interesting. The brain sure is a mazing ;)
