YOUR Belief

Muffled

Jesus in me
Why? I think the comment is relevant and accurate. What do you want him to say?

I suppose one could think of the tree the universe is made from and in some myths from the body of a man but these sound like anthrpomorphisms to me. Maybe it is a similitude. Even so I believe the universe is a creation and still not worthy of worship.

I don't repeat myself. You will find it in the "Experiencing God" thread.
Are you aware that there are billions of people who believe in God or the Gods, so how do you know your experiences are supposedly the right ones?

My point is not that I'm saying there is/are no God/Gods, but simply that demeaning other religions and those in them is uncalled for, imo. You know, or at least should know, that most religious beliefs are simply unfalsifiable. You cannot in any way provide evidence that the Bhagavad Gita is wrong and that Brahman doesn't exist, and if you think you can, go for it.

BTW, you actually do repeat yourself quite a bit, but I know that can be inconvenient at times..

I would say I am a Pantheist, I do not believe in an anthropomorphic god, I do not view things a be separate, in that sense I'm a non-dualist, my view is that this concept we call god exist in all things and nothing is removed from it.

Okay, so here is my new thread. This isn't a debate, but I want to see y'alls religion, and who you worship. I am a Hellenic Pagan that worships Ares and Artemis.

Okay, some of you might have seen my last thread, which came out wrong. It wasn't really intended to be against Christianity. Okay, so here is my new thread. This isn't a debate, but I want to see y'alls religion, and who you worship. I am a Hellenic Pagan that worships Ares and Artemis.

I believe that we're all stumbling in the dark thinking we have a solid grasp of reality. I work with many entities, I worship none.

I apologize if you thought I was saying that you are a jerk. I really was saying that it takes a Christian to know what a Christian is like. All too often those who bear the title are not rel Christians and people think Chistians are like that but people are not likely to know the difference. Perhaps the real Jesus is a bit too much for you?

I spent 28 years as a Christian...Christians are often not at all Christ-like. I love liberal Jesus very much. The Republican Jesus is not a correct representation.

I believe what you are saying is that when God agrees with you He is ok but when He doesn't you don't like Him. I believe in that case you have set yourself up as your own god but that won't keep you from having to answer to the real one.

I am sure everyone does that to one extent or another, or else we would have to adhere to a 100% literal Bible, which is obviously impossible.
